The minimum funds for 1 person have been updated from $13,213 Canadian dollars to $13,310. This is not at all a big change since inflation announced by the government is over 6%, but the adjustment in the minimum settlement funds has been significantly less.
If you have a family of two persons, you will need $16,570 Canadian dollars in liquid funds vs $16,449 from last year.
Check out the table published by IRCC to calculate your minimum funds. Important: you will be exempt from this if you have a Canadian job offer or are currently working in Canada with Canadian work experience of a minimum of 1 year.
