This is a very sought-after and popular program since it does not require any job offer or work experience inside Canada, international students enrolled in a public post-secondary school in the province of New Brunswick can even be eligible BEFORE they graduate.

These are the requirements if you’re interested in applying for EE in New Brunswick under the student connection sub-stream:
1) A valid Express Entry profile. This basically means you need work experience, language ability, and an Educational Credential Assessment of your overseas education if you have not completed a program inside Canada. Don’t worry if you can’t meet the Express Entry eligibility criteria, since there are other immigration streams in New Brunswick that could lead you to a PR in Canada.
2) You should be residing in New Brunswick and have graduated in the past 6 months or less
3) OR you are about to complete your studies at any New Brunswick public post-secondary school. In this case, you can apply for this program 3 months before you graduate.
If you are in an undergraduate program or in a thesis-based graduate program such as a Master’s or Ph.D., you can apply when you submit your thesis for evaluation
4) The minimum duration for any program in New Brunswick to be eligible under this stream must be at least 1 year
5) As soon as you meet the required eligibility criteria you can email the PNP office in New Brunswick with your documents and Express Entry valid profile ID number
6) Don’t worry if you studied online from overseas, if you travel to the province, you can still be eligible to apply if you are residing there now
7) You don’t need Canadian work experience for this program
8) You need to intend to continue to reside in the province after you have been invited and nominated for PR
9) You need minimum settlement funds as per Express Entry eligibility requirements
